1618 Architects Ltd are proud to announce that they have been appointed as Project Architects and Lead Consultants on the following two schemes in Glasgow, Scotland. This will enable our practise to reach out to a much wider audience and we hope to continue our expansion program to neighbouring regions.
Masjid Noor (Markaz Scotland), Forth St, Glasgow
Whilst the scheme was originally designed by Ink Architecture and carried through Full Planning, we hope to maintain its key design features and deliver the project with a slightly modified and a value engineered scheme. The project will consist of multi purpose prayer and Education facilities arranged around the Basement, Ground and Mezzanine levels.
Iqra Learning Centre (ILC) Hurlet House, Glasgow, Scotland
Whilst the 10 acre site has been in the ownership of our clients since 2013/14, the site has remained undeveloped until now. The clients wish to embark on a journey namely Vision 2030 and one that will consist of a multitude to uses and including but not limited to the following: Conference Facilities, Expansion of Existing Mosque, Recreational Facilities, Temporary Pod Accommodation, Nursery/ Crèche, Cafe and a multitude of other Community related activities for all ages.
